Graduating in 2014 as a qualified engineering professional, Engr. Muhammad Waseem embarked on his aviation journey, starting as a Trainee Engineer, and emerged as a result-oriented professional in Aviation Safety and Quality Assurance. Mr. Waseem’s ascent culminated in his appointment as Manager Safety and Quality Assurance, where he assumed the critical role of a Post Holder. In this capacity, he successfully established MRO and CAMO setups showcasing his proactive approach to regulatory compliance. Ascending through the ranks with unwavering dedication, hard work, and consistency at Northern Technik, Mr. Waseem has proven himself an invaluable asset. Recognizing his exceptional leadership qualities, the management appointed him as Chief Operating Officer (COO). In the span of a mere ten years, Mr. Waseem’s career trajectory has been nothing short of exceptional, elevating from the role of Trainee to the esteemed position of COO at a renowned maintenance organization. In this elevated role, Mr. Waseem stands at the helm, overseeing the entire operational spectrum. His strategic business acumen positions him as a driving force, steering the organization toward sustained growth, competitiveness, and excellence in the dynamic aviation landscape. His leadership extends beyond conventional quality assurance, encompassing strategic decision-making, reflecting a holistic approach to organizational success in the aviation industry.

Syed Raza Ali Zaidi- A committed & result-focused licensed Aircraft Engineer in avionics having more than 30 years of experience in Aviation, with demonstrated history of working on a range of Airbus & Boeing Aircrafts including B737-300, B747-200/300, B777/200 ER/LR & 300ER, A310 and A318/319/320. Having strong technical background in line and base maintenance and extensive expertise in avionics. Besides profound technical expertise, Mr. Zaidi has also brought with him strong management skills.

As a Compliance and Safety Assurance Specialist in the aviation industry, I am dedicated to upholding the highest standards of MRO 145 regulations across various civil aviation authorities, including OMAN, QATAR, SCAA, GCAA, UAE, and PCAA. I manage and control internal audit programs, facilitate external audits, and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions. My role includes developing and implementing Safety Management Systems (SMS), preparing organizations for scope approvals, and conducting human factor investigations to address maintenance errors. I am also responsible for creating safety performance indicators and investigating hazards to promote a strong safety culture and mitigate risks effectively.

Syed Muhammad Waqas Hussain Started his illustrious career in PIA line maintenance in 2003 after completing his apprenticeship in Aerospace trade. Currently holding EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License issued from KIWA Netherlands and CAA United Kingdom complimenting with multiple type endorsement i.e A320 Family with CFM56 and IAEV2500 Engines and Boeing 777 with GE90 engine. Currently employed by Northern Technik as Aircraft Engineer Incharge in Line Maintenance outstations providing Line Maintenance and CRS to Air Arabia and other operators. His career spans for more than 18 years of Aviation experience with Line and base maintenance, while being employed with world class airlines in the region including Emirates airlines, Etihad Airways, Dnata line maintenance, Oman air and PIA.

He is a qualified engineering graduate with extensive experience in the aviation industry. A meticulous, focused, and ambitious engineer, he is dedicated to the aviation sector and the continuous airworthiness management of aircraft. He has a strong background in airworthiness planning, production planning and control, check package preparation, implementation, and maintenance/task scheduling for aircraft including the Boeing 747, Boeing 787, Boeing 737, Airbus A320 family, and Airbus A330. He brings diverse experience in airworthiness and maintenance planning from an operator’s perspective. Additionally, he has practical experience in resource management, organizational contracts, organizational budgeting, organizational restructuring, business development and implementation of airworthiness procedures in compliance with industry regulations.

Demonstrated success in enhancing employee engagement, lowering turnover rates, and boosting productivity. Imran Awan brings over 15 years of diverse expertise in aviation, IT, and management to the forefront of his professional journey. Beginning his career as a Bond Assistant at Gatwick Airport, UK, he has since held pivotal roles that showcase his multifaceted skill set. Imran served as Assistant Manager of Distribution and IT at HG Moda UK Ltd for three years and demonstrated his management capabilities as an Operation Manager at HHM UK Ltd. His IT acumen was further honed during a two-year tenure as an IT Network Engineer at Fast Technologies, followed by three years as an IT Engineer at Dawn TV in Islamabad. Imran holds a Master’s in Operations Management from Newcastle, UK, and a BSCS degree from Bahria University, Islamabad, Pakistan. His comprehensive academic background and extensive professional experience underscore his commitment to excellence and his ability to drive success across aviation, IT, and management sectors.

Muhammad Ramzan Kayani is an aerospace engineer with over 32 years of extensive experience in aircraft maintenance and operations. A graduate of NED University of Engineering and Technology, Mr. Kayani further advanced his expertise through specialized training in aerospace technology at the PIA Training Centre. His illustrious career encompasses leadership roles with prominent aviation organizations such as PIA, Emirates Airlines, GAMCO, Etihad Airways, and Airblue. He holds Type B1 licenses from EASA, GCAA, and PCAA, with qualifications across a wide array of aircraft types, including the A320, A330, A340, B737NG, B777, and B787. As the Station Head at Northern Technik Lahore, Mr. Kayani is committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency in aircraft maintenance, fostering a collaborative environment that supports continuous learning and professional growth. His profound dedication to optimizing aircraft integrity and his extensive experience significantly bolster Northern Technik’s capability to deliver exceptional service and ensure flight safety.

Mr. Safdar Mahmood brings over three decades of extensive technical and managerial experience to the aviation industry. With a distinguished career spanning more than 25 years, he has held senior leadership roles in Aircraft Maintenance, Quality Assurance/Auditor, and high-pressure AOG coordination. Mr. Mahmood’s experience includes significant tenures with Etihad Airways (June 2010 – April 2021), Emirates Airlines (January 2004 – March 2010), and Pakistan International Airlines (January 1995 – 2003). He has worked on a diverse range of aircraft, including the Airbus A380, A330-200/300/F, and Boeing B787, B777-300/300ER/200LR/F. His 11 years of certifying experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in avionics encompasses the B777-300/ER/200/LR (GE-90 & T800 engines), B787-8/9/10 (GEnx engines), and A330-200/300 (GE-CF6 & T700 engines), including in-flight entertainment systems (IFE) and enhanced connectivity with PANASONIC eX2 and eX3 systems. Mr. Mahmood holds both GCAA and PCAA AME licenses and is renowned for his expertise and leadership in the aviation sector.

Muhammad Ali Imran is a Station Engineer at Northern Technik Multan, with a distinguished 13-year career in aircraft maintenance. Holding a PCAA license with endorsements for the Airbus A320 family, including CFM56, V2500, and LEAP-1A engines, Muhammad has accumulated nearly a decade of specialized experience with Airbus A320 aircraft, complemented by three years of work on Boeing 737-200/300/400 models. His extensive expertise spans troubleshooting, CRS, component replacement, snag identification, major and minor repairs, defect rectification, and both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Muhammad’s strong passion for aviation, coupled with his dedication to staying current with industry advancements, underscores his commitment to delivering innovative solutions and maintaining the highest standards in aircraft engineering.

Syed Ikramullah is an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer currently stationed at UET with Northern Technik. With over 12 years in the aviation industry, including a three-year apprenticeship at Pakistan International Airlines Engineering and subsequent roles as an Aircraft Mechanic, Syed brings a wealth of expertise to his position. He holds a specialized A320 family license with experience in CFM-56 and V2500 engines. Syed is committed to advancing his qualifications and contributing to the aviation sector’s progress, consistently ensuring high standards of safety and operational excellence.

Ammar Ahmad is an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with over eight years of experience, specializing in Airbus A320 aircraft. His career includes a significant tenure as a Senior Aircraft Technician at Pakistan International Airlines, where he managed maintenance and inspections for Boeing 777 and ATR aircraft. Currently, as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer B1 at Northern Technik (Pvt) Ltd., he certifies transit and daily maintenance for Qatar Airways and Fly Jinnah’s A320 fleet. Ammar holds an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License from the Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan and has completed a Type Rated Course for A320 Series CFM56 and IAE v2500. His expertise and commitment to high safety standards make him a pivotal contributor to the aviation sector.

Usman Ayyaz is an EASA B1 licensed engineer with over 10 years of extensive line maintenance experience at Airblue Ltd., specializing in the Airbus A320 family (V2500, CFM56, and CFM Leap-1A engines) and the Airbus A340-300. His expertise spans CHK-A maintenance, troubleshooting, and resolving Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations. Throughout his career, Mr. Ayyaz has developed a strong technical foundation, ensuring the safety and reliability of aircraft while maintaining the highest standards of operational efficiency and quality. His deep knowledge and hands-on approach make him a valuable asset in the aviation industry.

Said Mziwanda Kazembe is a highly skilled FIH Station Engineer based in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, with a robust foundation in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. He earned his diploma from Regional Aviation College in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, and enhanced his expertise by completing B1 EASA modules at Aero Building in Germany. Said’s commitment to professional growth is evident through his completion of Type Courses at prestigious institutions in Tallinn, Madrid, Barcelona, and Istanbul, with training provided by Part 147 EASA-approved organizations such as FEAM and Aviet. His accomplishments include a B1 EASA License with endorsements for Airbus A320 CEO and LEAP 1A, as well as Boeing B787 GenX and RR Trent. Said has also completed B737 NG and MAX training, passed Airbus A330 exams, and is currently progressing with Airbus A350 XWB training.
